From subsidy advice bureau to insect nursery

The annual Open Company Day Drenthe took place on Saturday 4 November. The public was able to take a look behind the scenes at various companies in the province of Drenthe.
One of the companies that participated is the Insect Center Wadudu in Beilen. The company was also opened with great interest by Deputy Henk Jumelet and Alderman Gerard Lohuis.

“Wadudu combines breeding, research and advice to arrive at a sustainable interpretation of insect farming in Northwest Europe. Sustainable by opening and opening protein cycles and by building an economically profitable sector. We want to contribute to the connection between growers, processors and buyers in order to be part of a transparent food chain ”, says Janmar Katoele of Wadudu
