In Europe pigs and chickens can now eat insects

Farmers in Europe can now give their chickens and pigs, insects as nutrition, a more sustainable source of protein. Insects such as mealworms, crickets and locusts are now officially safe to consume.

This means that there will be less production of soya milk and less cutting down forests. This will be not only be sustainable but also have an effect on the insect nursery. An logical consequence will be that the production of insect meal will increase.
